The Educator Grant

Traveling Light Foundation (TLF) is committed to empowering individuals by providing inspiring educational opportunities that nurture their passions. Our mission is to ignite a lifelong joy of learning. We are grateful for the opportunity to support all McMinnville students and learners in their education and growth. TLF deeply respects educators and their role in enlightening and inspiring student learners, and recognize that McMinnville has diligent, devoted, and kindhearted educators in all sectors. McMinnville educators are outstanding professionals dedicated to its unique and brilliant students and families. We are proud to support McMinnville educators in offering the TLF Educator Grant.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

  • TLF Educator Grant of $500 will be approved for supplies and/or projects implemented during the 2026-27 school year. 

  • TLF Educator Grant funds are intended to benefit students in the 2026-27 school year. 

  • TLF Educator Grant Applications are due by October 31, 2026, with all steps completed. Recipients will be notified by November 2026. 

  • Applicants will be sent an email upon receipt of their application. 

  • If approval is required, the TLF Educator Grant application must be emailed to the school administrator or supervisor for approval prior to submission. Please feel free to contact Georgia Sforza at georgia@gotlf.org with questions or for help completing your application. 

  • Grants need to be endorsed by the school administrator (if you are a school teacher in a public, private or charter school) to ensure school continuity.
