Raspberry Pi STEM Awards

We are happy to be able to award an 8th grader in Ronan's middle school a Raspberry Pi Personal Computer Kit and accessories. This is sure to bring hours of educational enjoyment to our first ever scholarship recipient!

Lemonade Day
SUMMER 2022 & 2023 MCMINNVILLE, OR
Shoppers enjoyed a lemonade with our youth advisory committee, who learned how to operate a business in this nation wide program sponsored by the McMinnville Chamber of Commerce. A portion of the proceeds were donated to Traveling Light Foundation.

Trivia Night
ONLINE '23
Our St. Patrick's Day trivia night raised over $800, a HUGE thank you to those who participated and supported this fundraiser! It was so much fun and we look forward to hosting another in 2024!

6th Grade Field Trip to JA Biztown
6th graders were immersed in a simulated economy, discovered the intricacies of jobs and being members of their community, and discovered the abundance of opportunities within their city.

Swingin' on a Star
Traveling Light Foundation board members attended a benefit gala for music education in McMinnville Public Schools and were inspired to help bring a new piano to Duniway Middle School!

TRUE Book Fair
Traveling Light Foundation is currently collecting middle school books in new or gently used condition. Our True Book Fair will allow each student to take at least one book at no charge. Interested in donating books? Contact us at connect@gotlf.org.

Kindergarten Library
SEPTEMBER 2023
Our generous donors worked together to provide a new library for a local kindergarten class. Literacy is a priority for TLF and we are happy to know that many students will benefit from these books for years to come.

Author Visit: Jeff Kinney
NOVEMBER '23, MCMINNVILLE, OR
McMinnville is welcoming fan-favorite Jeff Kinney, author of the well-known Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. TLF is providing a ticket to each of the six elementary schools in Mac to see the show and receive a signed copy of the newest release, "No Brainer."
